Million Dollar Quartet is the smash-hit musical from Broadway, inspired by the true story of the famed recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.

On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Outback Concerts present powerhouse comedians Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry The Cable Guy at the Resch Center on Friday February 24, 8pm. These hilarious comics come together for one special night that is guaranteed to be filled with non-stop laughter. This is definitely one event not to miss.

Jeff Foxworthy is widely known for his redneck jokes, and his act goes well beyond to explore the humour in everyday family interactions and human nature. Foxworthy currently hosts the hit show Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, which airs on FOX and is in syndication. One of the most respected and successful comedians in the United States, Foxworthy is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and a best-selling author.

Bill Engvall currently hosts the game show LINGO for GSN. He also recently completed a 3 episode arc on the TNT show Hawthorne, narrated a documentary for the Speed Channel on Darrel Waltrip and starred in the Hallmark Channel movie Kiss at Pine Lake. Previously, he hosted Country Fried Home Videos - one of the highest rated shows on Country Music Television (CMT). He’s recorded specials for Comedy Central, including Aged and Confused and recorded several albums. The California resident has also authored several books.

Larry The Cable Guy has his signature catchphrase, “Git-R-Done”, and continues to sell out theatres and arenas throughout North America. Larry is currently the host of Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy for the History Channel, which is now filming its second season. In each episode, Larry will visit various sites across the country revealing bits of real history while immersing himself in new and different lifestyles, jobs and hobbies that celebrate the American experience. In July 2009, he performed in front of more than 50,000 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Comedian John Caparulo brings his comedy show to the Meyer Theatre on Friday, March 16, 2012, 8pm. Known as Cap, Caparulo’s sharp wit, unique delivery and brilliant affinity for cuss words made him a crowd favorite right off the bat. Now, after support from comedy greats like Jay Leno, Chelsea Handler and Vince Vaughn, John’s getting a shot at becoming a true household name.

In addition to touring nationwide, John can be seen alongside his pal Chelsea Handler as a regular on her E! hit show Chelsea Lately. John shares, “It's like hanging out at my buddy's house and getting a check for it! It really is the most fun I've had since I got into comedy. I've known Chelsea since we were both doing 6-minute spots in the attic at The Comedy Store. I never thought she really liked me. Come to think of it... I'm still not sure.”

In a blossoming hip-hop hotbed of talent, Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick is next up out of Pittsburgh, PA. Mac caught the eyes and ears of Rostrum Records, inking a deal in July 2010. A multitalented musician who can play numerous instruments and a young novice of the freestyle/cipher/battle circuit of his hometown, Mac has been paving his way to superstardom in his blue-collar hometown for years.

Born in 1992, Mac taught himself to play piano, drums, guitar, and bass by the age of 6. Then, after learning to compose songs in a variety of musical genres, he began studying the art of rhyme. Influenced by the styles of artists such as Big L, Lauryn Hill, Outkast, and A Tribe Called Quest, Mac soon developed a reputation for delivering jaw-dropping freestyles in Pittsburgh.

Soon after signing to Rostrum, Miller was thrust onto several national radio shows for interviews and impromptu freestyles, which have now become Youtube viral video classics. To coincide with his debut Rostrum free albums “K.I.D.S.” and “Best Day Ever” Mac continued to team up with hometown filmmaker/videographer Rex Arrow Films. Mac’s videos have now surpassed 165 million hits on youtube, including 6 with 15 million plus views a piece. The success of his early street buzz and social media dominance have transitioned Mac to sold out shows across the world.

The year 2011 also showcased Mac’s selling potential as his debut Rostrum EP, “On and On and Beyond,” sold over 60,000 copies digitally alone. Mac has also sold over a million singles total with little to no radio airplay. His debut LP “Blue Slide Park” reached #3 overall on the iTunes Albums Chart just from pre-orders.
