The DNR says a 104-year-old woman is believed to be the oldest person in recorded state history to get a deer.
Florence Teeters of Phillips got her first hunting license this year, after she sat in a blind with her son in Price County last year. Two hours into opening day last Saturday, Teeters shot a spike buck.
The DNR’s preliminary check of hunting records shows Teeters is the oldest to buy a gun deer license, and get a deer.
