Taylor Swift is in her NFL era, and the Swifties are eating it up. On September 24, Taylor showed her support for Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce by watching the game from his suite as they faced off against the Chicago Bears. Videos of her at the game show her sitting beside Kelce’s mom, Donna, and cheering loudly and proudly when Kelce got a touchdown or the Chiefs were doing well.

According to WGN sports reporter and co-host of GN Sports Jarrett Payton, the pair was seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium together following the Chiefs 10-41 win. Payton shared a video to X of the NFL star and pop star walking side-by-side as they exited captioned: “Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce leaving Arrowhead together after the game. #Bears #ChiefsKingdom #NFL.” Kelce nodded towards him, asking, “How you doin?” and Taylor smiled, saying, “Heeey!”

TMZ also acquired some photos of the pair riding off in a convertible after walking out of the stadium, and a post to X by Pop Crave reads: “Travis Kelce rented out a restaurant for Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs for a private party following the team’s win last night, according to @etnow. ‘The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted.’“
While it seems like there could be some romance between them, there has yet to be any confirmation on whether or not they are dating. The first sign that there may be some interest between the two was when Taylor’s Eras Tour made a stop at Arrowhead Stadium and the tight end attended, sharing on the New Heights podcast that he attempted to give her his phone number through a friendship bracelet, but wasn’t able to. He said, “I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
On Thursday, September 21st, Kelce disclosed that he had extended an invitation to Swift for one of his games. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, he explained, “I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead.’ We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
It will be interesting to see if this love story continues, and if it does, with Taylor in the stands, I’m sure the NFL can look forward to some pretty good ratings this year with the help of the Swifties.
