Demi Lovato Talks Hard Work and Hitting the Road on "Late Night"
Demi Lovato was a guest and Wednesday night's musical act on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers. The appearance came days after Demi broke the news that she was kicking off a North American tour in September.
Demi explained she was eager to hit the road again in support of her 2013 album, Demi, which features the current hit "Really Don't Care." She told Meyers, "I knew this year, going into it, I wanted to work really, really hard and focusing on music and touring, so that's why I kinda dove into it. And...the last tour, the Neon Lights tour, did so well that we're gonna go back out on the road."
Demi closed out the show performing the new hit.
She'll kick off her tour September 6, when she takes the stage at the Baltimore Arena, the first date on a 25-city run that is slated to wrap up on October 25, in Newark, New Jersey. As previously reported, Christina Perri will join Demi as her opening act.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 6 on LiveNation.com.
In the meantime, Lovatics should set their DVRs: as Demi will perform as part of ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on June 6.
