A Spice Girls reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of their hit "Wannabe" is apparently in the works, but both Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham and Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm, aka Mel C, are sitting it out.  In an essay for the British publication The Love Magazine, Mel C explains why. Daya's Debut Album, "Sit Still, Look Pretty," Due October 7

After two successful singles, Daya has finally announced details of her debut album. The disc, called Sit Still, Look Pretty after Daya's hit single of the same name, will be out October 7, with a pre-order going live September 17.  "Can't wait to share w/ you all," she tweeted. A three-minute preview of the disc, featuring snippets of all the songs, is streaming now. Sam Smith’s First-Ever Album, "Diva Boy," Getting a Re-Release

Get ready to hear a pre-fame Sam Smith. The singer’s very first album, Diva Boy, is getting re-released next month by London-based independent label Flipbook Music.The album was recorded in 2008, when Sam was just 16 years old. It features a song called “Momentarily Mine,” which has an accompanying low-budget music video on YouTube. Apollonia Makes Surprise Appearance at "Purple Rain" Celebration

"Purple rain, purple rain!" A special screening and discussion titled "Purple Rain: Celebration," took place in Beverly Hills, California Monday night -- and none other than the movie's leading lady, Apollonia Kotero, made a surprise appearance, says Billboard.  The event honored the cult classic 1984 romance drama Purple Rain, which famously starred the late music icon Prince and made Apollonia famous, albeit briefly. Selena Gomez "Clearing Her Calendar for a Year" to Deal with Lupus-Related Issues

Last year, Selena Gomez revealed that she suffers from lupus, an autoimmune disease.  Now, the singer has decided to take time off from her busy schedule to deal with some side effects she's experiencing as a result of the disease. Miley's "Wrecking Ball" VMA Moonman for Sale on eBay; Amazon Series Gets a Premiere Date

If you've always dreamed of displaying a MTV VMA Moonman on your shelf, get ready to open your wallet. Jessie Helt, the homeless kid who accepted Miley Cyrus' Video of the Year VMA for "Wrecking Ball" back in 2014, is selling the Moonman on eBay.  It's described as "In mint condition. Coldplay Honors Gene Wilder with Live "Pure Imagination" Cover

The world lost Gene Wilder on Monday, and Coldplay honored the late comic legend by covering the song "Pure Imagination" during their show in Denver last night. You can listen to clip of the performance now via the band's Instagram. Wilder, of course, famously sang "Pure Imagination" in the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. After Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s steamy VMA performance of “Side to Side,” we now have the song’s equally steamy music video.Much like the VMA performance, the gym-themed video features Ariana singing on an exercise bike.
