Guess who's back? Eminem and Beyoncé "Walk On Water" for new track

Eminem's finally released a brand-new track -- "Walk on Water" -- which he cryptically teased  Wednesday on his Instagram page. On the same account Friday, he writes, "I'MMM BACK #WalkOnWater #Revival @beyonce #ShadyBack," alongside the cover art for the song that shows a crowd of people both above and below water.  "Walk on Water" features none other than Beyoncé, whose vocals soar amid Em's thoughtful rap lyrics about blind ambition and fear.  "Why are expectations so high/Is it the bar I set/The arms I stretch/But I can't reach/A far cry from it," he says.  While we still don't know when his next album, speculated to…

Look what you made us buy: Pondering "Reputation"'s potential first-week sales

Her last three albums each sold over a million copies each in their debut weeks, so it's no surprise that Taylor Swift's record label expects a lot from her new album, Reputation.  But how many copies will Reputation actually sell in its first week?  Depends on who you ask. A source tells Variety that Reputation will sell between 1.3 and 1.5 million units, a bit more than her 2014 album, 1989.  But as Billboard reports, Taylor's record label believes two million copies is possible. Billboard news director Hannah Karp thinks that's optimistic, but notes that Taylor's team is very creative,…

Sam Smith's no diva -- but does have people tie his shoes for him

Sam Smith may occasionally get primped and pampered before he hits the stage, but he’s no diva. When it comes to backstage demands, Sam tells the BBC he doesn’t ask for anything outrageous...most of the time. "I don't ask for puppies in my dressing room," he says. "But sometimes -- and I'm really embarrassed about this -- when they're doing my make-up before I go onstage, people do up my [shoe] laces for me.” He adds, "I hate it. I feel like a diva. A diva or a three-year-old." There was a time, following the release of In the Lonely…

Taylor Swift's "Reputation" is doubling as birthday gift for her favorite TV star

Taylor Swift has already paid tribute to actress Ellen Pompeo by naming one of her cats Meredith, after Ellen’s character on Grey’s Anatomy. Taylor Swift debuts "New Year's Day" in intimate performance from home

Taylor Swift debuted a new song, "New Year's Day," during a special performance shot at her Rhode Island home, that aired during Thursday night's episode of Scandal. Seated at a piano in a candle-lit living room and surrounded by fans, Taylor played the song -- about clinging to love after the first excitement, when things get hard and messy -- with the assembled fans singing along quietly. "There's glitter on the floor after the party/Girls carrying their shoes down in the lobby/Candle wax and Polaroids on the hardwood floor/You and me forevermore," Taylor sings in one verse, then adds in…

Niall Horan on tying The Beatles' record: It's "unbelievable"

When Niall Horan's debut solo album Flicker debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, One Direction joined The Beatles as the only groups ever to have three of their members hit #1 as solo artists.  As you might imagine, Niall doesn't quite know what to make of that particular feat. Speaking to Billboard, Niall says, "It's a pretty cool stat to be able to read. The Beatles are The Beatles. We just happen to be another band who had three members or whatever, but to read something like that, it's unbelievable. It's hard to really put into words how…
