Katy Perry Accuses Australian Paper of Recycling Old Quotes About Her Ex

A few days ago, the Australian paper The Daily Telegraph published an interview with Katy Perry in which she discussed a variety topics, including her ex-husband, Russell Brand.  Katy's quoted in the interview as saying, "He hasn’t spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce. I don’t want to talk about him -- my songs will say what I need to say."  Now, Katy's accusing the paper of recycling those quotes from an interview she did years ago. Speaking to the British paper The Daily Mirror, Ed says, "I’d like to live for a bit! It's Your Fault that Taylor Swift's Not Playing Lots of Old Favorites in Concert

The setlist for Taylor Swift's newly launched 1989 World Tour features every single song from her 1989 album, and just three older hits.  Why so much focus on the new music?  She says her fans pretty much voted for her to do it -- by buying so many darn copies of the album. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Taylor says that the songs on 1989 seem "to be the music of mine that people are liking the most."  She explains, "If this album hadn't been so impactful to the fans, if they hadn't gone out and broken so many records and made…

Pink on Body-Shaming Bullies: "I Don't Care...I Like Food a Lot"

Last month on Twitter, Pink slapped down online body-shamers who commented that she'd gained some weight lately, and then added in an interview that she didn't "take well to bullying."   Now, speaking to E!, the singer says the problem with Internet trolls is that they actually think people care what they say.   "I think people have gotten it wrong. They think their opinion matters and holds weight, and I don't know where or why they're giving themselves so much credit, you know? So I thought it was important for me to remind them that I don't care," she tells…

"American Idol" Nick Fradiani to Sing Tonight at PBS' National Memorial Day Concert

Sure, you can be a success by just appearing on American Idol and not winning -- just ask Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson.  But winning the title gives you the chance to do some pretty cool stuff.  For example, newly minted American Idol Nick Fradiani is going to sing the national anthem at the 26th annual National Memorial Day Concert, airing on PBS, live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, on Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET. "That’s a humbling thing right there," he tells ABC Radio. "I still can’t believe that. I’m just so honored to be…
