Alicia Keys wants women to know they don’t need to conform to someone's idea of looking "perfect."
The 15-time Grammy Award winner appears without makeup in the publicity photo for her latest single, “In Common,” and she writes in an essay for LennyLetter.com, “It is the strongest, most empowered, most free, and most honestly beautiful that I have ever felt.”
Keys says she was “sick of” females having to conform to an image determined by society.
“Women are brainwashed into feeling like we have to be skinny, or sexy, or desirable, or perfect,” she comments. “One of the many things…
Wondering what Sam Smith has been up to? Turns out the British singer has been vacationing stateside. According to People, Sam and his parents spent last week sightseeing in Boston.
Sam reportedly attended a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park Wednesday, and spent the next day strolling around the Beacon Hill area. He was spotted on Charles Street, grabbing a Starbucks coffee before heading to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall.
Sam also dined on the patio at Mija Cantina & Tequila Bar in the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, where he posed for a selfie with a fan and took a…
Gwen Stefani goes industrial chic in her music video for “Misery.” In the fashion-forward clip, the singer models a series of different couture looks in an abandoned warehouse.
The video cuts between scenes of Gwen and a trio of dapper male dancers. There are also several surreal visuals: At one point she poses next to a horse and in another scene, she rides a bicycle through the warehouse. What does it all mean? We're not sure -- but it sure looks pretty.
“Misery” is the third single off Gwen's latest solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like.
Katy Perry maybe didn’t have the best Memorial Day. Hackers took control of the singer’s Twitter account Monday and tweeted out a bunch of strange messages to her 89 million followers.
According to E! News, which captured the since-deleted tweets, one such message was a shout-out to Taylor Swift, with whom Katy is rumored to have “Bad Blood.” The tweet read, “miss u baby,” and tagged Taylor’s Twitter handle. Another tweet apparently included a SoundCloud link to an unreleased Katy song.
The tweets were quickly deleted and Katy’s control of her page was restored. She has yet to comment on…
Adele once said she hates being away from England, but did she finally cave and buy a house in Los Angeles? According to TMZ, the singer shelled out $9.5 million for a mansion in Beverly Hills about a month ago.
The 6,600-square foot home reportedly has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, a treehouse and an outdoor train set. Those last two features sound perfect for her three-year-old son, Angelo.
Adele’s pal Jennifer Lawrence is among her neighbors, as well as Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie. But TMZ reports that Adele hasn’t even moved in…
Catch your first glimpse of Selena Gomez as a young runaway in the trailer for her new Netflix movie, The Fundamentals of Caring.
The film stars Paul Rudd as a caregiver who begins working with a wheelchair-bound teenager. He takes the teen on a road trip to break him out of his dreary routine, and along the way they pick up Selena’s character -- a street-wise hitchhiker.
Funny enough, the trailer also contains a couple of Katy Perry references. The teen in the film has a huge crush on the pop star. Earlier this month there were rumors Selena was…
When he's not singing hits like "Want to Want Me," Jason Derulo has a side job as a judge on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. The new season premiered last night, but there's a new twist: it's billed as The Next Generation because all the dancers are between the ages of eight and 13. But Jason says he and his fellow judges -- Paula Abdul, Nigel Lythgoe and teen dancer Maddie Ziegler -- aren't worried that the kids won't be able to take their critical comments.
"It’s super dope," Jason tells ABC Radio about the new season. "I…
