Christina Aguilera Producing New Musical Game Show

Christina Aguilera is taking her TV experience from The Voice and parlaying it into something new. Variety reports the singer is producing a music-themed game show for Spike TV. The show, called Tracks, will debut as a half-hour special later this year, with the hope of developing into a full series. Tracks will feature a team of two as they attempt to identify a song just by listening to its individual parts -- for instance, just the guitar track or just the bass track. “Having finely tuned my ear for music over the years, I thought it would be fun…

Taylor Swift Music Videos Generate More Viewers than Most TV Shows

Taylor Swift’s music video catalog is pulling in TV-sized audiences, Variety reports. New Nielsen research commissioned by Vevo reveals that music videos from popular artists consistently generate equal if not bigger audiences than network TV shows. The research cites Taylor as an example. During the week that her star-studded “Bad Blood” video was released last year, Taylor’s music videos scored 18 million U.S. viewers -- which was a bigger audience than all but one network TV show. Her numbers were only surpassed by NCIS: Los Angeles that week. And Taylor isn’t the only one rivaling TV viewership. Drake’s videos were…

Madonna Denies She Was Drunk During Weekend Show in Australia

No, Madonna wasn’t drunk on stage during a weekend show in Melbourne, Australia.  At least, that’s what she insists. Responding to online chatter about what some are describing as a “meltdown” the 57-year-old singer had during her performance Saturday in Melbourne, Australia, Madonna shared supportive comments a fan posted on Instagram, who called the claims “absolutely ridiculous,” adding “Madonna has never been drunk onstage.  And these sorts of accusations are nothing short of yet another misogynistic attempt to undermine a highly accomplished woman’s value.” Madonna responded: “Thanks for supporting me. Too bad people don't know the art of acting and…

James Bay Says It's "Cool" if "Let It Go" Helps You Through Your Breakup

Thanks to his performance at the Grammy Awards last month, James Bay's profile in the U.S. is higher than ever, and his latest single, "Let It Go," is climbing the charts.  The British singer says that while the song may sound like he wrote it about a breakup, he says it was more about an attempt to save, rather than end, a relationship. With lyrics like "Let the ashes fall/Forget about me" and "I think it's time to walk away," the song certainly sounds like the last gasps of a romance, and James agrees that it could be interpreted that…
