Actress Loren Lott, 22, kicked things off with her version of Adele’s “Skyfall,” from the James Bond movie of the same name. It brought Jennifer to her feet, declaring…

Katy Perry Sees Album Sales Boost After Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Artists don't get paid to play the Super Bowl because it's essentially a giant commercial for them and their music.  Case in point: Katy Perry has received a decent album sales boost in the week following the big game. Among her catalog, her biggest seller of post-Super Bowl week was her most recent album Prism, which was up 52 percent with 13,000 copies sold. Katy’s song sales went up, too.…

Enrique Iglesias' New Video Involves Puppets and Palm Trees

Enrique Iglesias just released the video for his song “Let Me Be Your Lover” featuring Pitbull, and it can best be summed up with these words: puppets and palm trees. The bizarre video, which has been posted to YouTube, features the shenanigans of marionette versions of Enrique and Pitbull. They cruise through palm tree-lined streets in a toy car, flirt with girl puppets and dance with life-size dancers. The puppets even roll up to a red-carpet event and strut through a sea of photographers and fans. The video includes a “to be continued” message at the end, which seems to suggest…

Madonna Tells the "Word Police" to Back Off

Madonna is all about free speech and she has some harsh words for critics who object to her use of the b-word in songs from her new album, Rebel Heart. Speaking to Billboard, she essentially tells the “word police” to back off, but she uses harsher words not suitable to repeat in polite company. "I don't want to be policed!” she says. “I'm not interested in political correctness." In her opinion, the use of the word is all about the context. If you’re using the word to refer to yourself, she says, then that’s an expression of strength and empowerment.…

Mark Ronson Says Bruno Mars’ Appeal Is Similar to Michael Jackson’s

Mark Ronson knows there’s something magical about working with Bruno Mars, and it could have something to do with the fact that Bruno shares similarities with the King of Pop. “There's something just spookily great about Bruno,” the powerhouse producer tells Rolling Stone. “He taps into everybody's f**king thing -- there's artists that have moments when they're in the zone, and their music touches everybody. Same way as Michael Jackson. How come toward the end of his career, there were kids screaming outside of his hotel who weren't even born when his last massive record came out?” Bruno used to…
