Pitbull Says Donald Trump Didn't Understand "Power of Latinos"

Pitbull doesn’t think Donald Trump understood the “power of Latinos” when he made disparaging comments about Mexican immigrants during his presidential candidacy announcement last month. The Cuban rapper gave Billboard his thoughts on the controversy. He says his “mom used to say the two biggest diseases in the world are greed and ignorance.” Pitbull says he doesn't think Donald is ignorant, but he also doesn’t think the mogul really understood what he was saying. “[He didn’t understand] how we’re always united, and how we truly respect this country way too much; we respect the liberty it gives us to control…

Ed Sheeran Takes British Publication to Task for Posting Article in Which Singer Morrissey Slams Him

Even though Ed Sheeran is busy preparing for his headlining gig at London's Wembley Stadium tonight, he still seems to have plenty of time to tweet at a certain British publication that he thinks is being unfair to him. Britain's NME has posted an article quoting alternative-rock god Morrissey as saying, ""There are no bands or singers who become successful without overwhelming marketing. There are no surprise success stories...we are now in the era of marketed pop stars...we are force-fed such as Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, which at least means that things can’t possibly get any worse." Ed replied,…

Harry Styles Takes a Tumble on Stage

Man down! Harry Styles took a tumble on stage during the kick-off of One Direction’s North American On the Road Again tour in San Diego last night. The fall happened as the group was performing “Through the Dark,” and the whole thing was caught on tape -- from various angles.  Harry tries to drag his microphone across the stage, but it gets caught on something and pulls him backwards. The crowd of mainly young girls screams as he hits the ground, but Harry and his band mates just laugh it off. The heartthrob wasn’t injured, aside from a bruised ego.…

Jordin Sparks is a desert princess in her new video for her upcoming album’s title track, “Right Here Right Now.” The singer and former American Idol winner glams it up against a stark desert setting, singing in a black gown on a pedestal in some scenes, and in others, donning a crown on a throne flanked by palm fronds and male bodyguards. “I wanna know what would happen if we kissed right now/Right here and right now/Already know, but I wanna be sure/Know that I wanna be yours,” Jordin  sings on the sultry track. “Right Here Right Now” is the…

Ellie Goulding Says Being Part of Taylor Swift's "Squad" Is Inspiring

Ellie Goulding is proud to be part of Taylor Swift’s “squad.” She got to appear as a bazooka-wielding tough chick in Taylor’s “Bad Blood,” and she even set Taylor up with her current beau, Calvin Harris. But beyond that, she’s proud that a group of women can be friends free of gossip and back-stabbing. Carly Rae Jepsen's "I Really Like You" Gets a Bleachers Remix

Carly Rae Jepsen's single "I Really Like You" just got a Jack Antonoff makeover. The Bleachers frontman remixed the catchy tune, punching it up with a heavier beat of military drums. If that sounds like something you might really, really, really, really, really, really like, you can listen to Jack’s version at Stereogum.com. Carly and Jack previously collaborated in the studio for Carly's upcoming album, Emotion, but it's unclear if any of the songs from that studio session made the album's final cut. Jack has also collaborated with Taylor Swift, co-writing three songs on latest album, 1989. This summer, Bleachers…
