Even though Ed Sheeran is busy preparing for his headlining gig at London's Wembley Stadium tonight, he still seems to have plenty of time to tweet at a certain British publication that he thinks is being unfair to him.
Britain's NME has posted an article quoting alternative-rock god Morrissey as saying, ""There are no bands or singers who become successful without overwhelming marketing. There are no surprise success stories...we are now in the era of marketed pop stars...we are force-fed such as Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, which at least means that things can’t possibly get any worse."
Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj and American Authors are just a few of the many acts who'll be performing at the first-ever Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival, taking place August 22 and 23 at the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach in Long Island, New York.
Other artists on the bill include Natalie La Rose, ILoveMakonnen, Lil Wayne, Fetty Wap, Kiesza, Little Mix, The Chainsmokers, MKTO and many more.
There will be three stages, including one on the actual beach, during the festival. All the artists who'll be rocking those stages have, of course, had their songs appear…
Man down! Harry Styles took a tumble on stage during the kick-off of One Direction’s North American On the Road Again tour in San Diego last night.
The fall happened as the group was performing “Through the Dark,” and the whole thing was caught on tape -- from various angles. Harry tries to drag his microphone across the stage, but it gets caught on something and pulls him backwards. The crowd of mainly young girls screams as he hits the ground, but Harry and his band mates just laugh it off.
The heartthrob wasn’t injured, aside from a bruised ego.…
Jordin Sparks is a desert princess in her new video for her upcoming album’s title track, “Right Here Right Now.”
The singer and former American Idol winner glams it up against a stark desert setting, singing in a black gown on a pedestal in some scenes, and in others, donning a crown on a throne flanked by palm fronds and male bodyguards.
“I wanna know what would happen if we kissed right now/Right here and right now/Already know, but I wanna be sure/Know that I wanna be yours,” Jordin sings on the sultry track.
“Right Here Right Now” is the…

Say what you may about Miley Cyrus, but she's got a heavyweight fan in her corner: Bill Murray.
Appearing at Comic Con in San Diego Thursday, Murray noted Cyrus is a guest on his upcoming Netflix Christmas special, and then revealed that her talent blew everyone away.
"I’m gonna say this officially: Miley Cyrus is good," he told the audience. "I was not particularly convinced. [But] Miley Cyrus is really f***ing good. She can really sing."
In fact, Murray said, Miley impressed everyone on the set. "I thought she was just a knucklehead crazy girl and...the kind of girl you’d wanna…
Rob Thomas has been battling a bronchial infection during his current tour in support of his upcoming album The Great Escape, but now it's his wife's health that has forced him to postpone a string of dates.

Ellie Goulding is proud to be part of Taylor Swift’s “squad.” She got to appear as a bazooka-wielding tough chick in Taylor’s “Bad Blood,” and she even set Taylor up with her current beau, Calvin Harris. But beyond that, she’s proud that a group of women can be friends free of gossip and back-stabbing.
"I think the world is changing in a big way, especially in the music industry,” she tells lifestyle website Refinery29. “It's way more about looking up to each other than being a rival with each other.”
She says she makes it a point to surround herself…
Carly Rae Jepsen's single "I Really Like You" just got a Jack Antonoff makeover. The Bleachers frontman remixed the catchy tune, punching it up with a heavier beat of military drums. If that sounds like something you might really, really, really, really, really, really like, you can listen to Jack’s version at Stereogum.com.
Carly and Jack previously collaborated in the studio for Carly's upcoming album, Emotion, but it's unclear if any of the songs from that studio session made the album's final cut. Jack has also collaborated with Taylor Swift, co-writing three songs on latest album, 1989.
This summer, Bleachers…
Ariana Grande has issued another apology after TMZ released footage this week of her allegedly licking some doughnuts and saying she hates America at a California shop.
She posted a four-minute apology, titled "sorry babes," on YouTube Thursday night, recorded from what she called her "wisdom tooth recovery home."
A puffy-cheeked Ariana, who recently underwent dental surgery, said in the video she wanted to address what she described as the "doughnut fiasco" again because she felt her first apology missed an opportunity.
She explained that in the statement she released Wednesday, she was "too busy preaching about my issues with…
