Harry Styles gives one-word answers in hilarious Chelsea Handler interview

Giving one-word answers doesn’t usually make for a good interview, but in this case it does. Chelsea Handler quizzed Harry Styles on a variety of topics for her Netflix show Chelsea, and she encouraged him to be as brief as possible. “I don’t have a ton of time because I’m going to a pool party, so I need kind of one-word answers,” Chelsea says. “I don’t need you to go off and on about your acting and how you get into a role. People will see it for themselves and decide whether or not they think you’re qualified.” Her first…

You better work. RuPaul’s Drag Race not only gives you fabulous catchphrases, but it also apparently influences what music you’re listening to. According to Billboard, the Emmy-nominated reality series’ most recent season managed to boost streaming numbers for the songs featured on the program big-time. In particular, streaming of Whitney Houston’s “So Emotional” was up 510 percent for the week ending June 29 -- just days after season nine winner Sasha Velour lip-synced the song on the show’s June 23 finale. Other songs enjoyed big spikes after contestants lip-synced to them on the show. Another Whitney tune, “It’s Not Right…

Delete your Twitter: @EdSheeran is no more

Ed Sheeran recently said he didn't read Twitter anymore because he was tired of all the hate.  Now he's exercised the nuclear option: on Monday, he deleted his entire account. Ed got rid of the account the day after he appeared on Game of Thrones, a cameo which prompted numerous not-very-nice comments from viewers.  In fact, many expressed their desire to have Arya Stark kill him. Thankfully, Ed is still front and center on Instagram.  He recently shared a photo of himself and girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, captioned "Climbing mountains in Peru." Earlier this month, Ed described his feelings towards Twitter…

Imagine Dragons "Evolve", top Adult Pop songs chart with "Believer"

Imagine Dragons' latest hit, "Believer," has just topped Billboard's Adult Pop songs chart.  It's the band's first #1 on that chart, and their third top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.  The song is the first single from the band's latest album, Evolve, and lead singer Dan Reynolds says that title really describes their new music. "I mean, I think it's just that: an evolution of sorts," Dan tells ABC Radio. "Sonically, it's a departure, lyrically it's a departure......it's a departure but an arrival, [too].  And it retains a lot of things [from before]. So yeah, Evolve felt like the…

No, Taylor Swift is NOT leaving her apartment hidden in a giant suitcase

Yes, Taylor Swift likes her privacy, but no, she is not having her security detail smuggle her out of her New York City apartment in a giant suitcase. Splash News photo service caused a commotion yesterday by putting out a photo of burly guys lugging a big black case out of Taylor's apartment, and captioning it, "Taylor Swift being transported in a huge suitcase from her Tribeca apartment into her truck." However, a Splash News representative then told Spin later on Monday, "I literally just put the phone down from someone on Taylor’s camp. We’re having to actually retract that.”…

Lorde spent four hours stuck on a NYC subway train

Lorde was Seth Meyers' musical guest on Monday's Late Night, where she also chatted with Meyers about her latest album Melodrama and spending four hours stuck on a New York City subway train. The New Zealand-born singer/songwriter actually thanked the NYC subway in the liner notes of her new album, and told Meyers that while city residents may not consider it a pleasant experience, "it still has a bit of romance" for her. "When you're working in the studio you're very isolated and kind of hang out with a couple of people," she explained, "so I feel like it kind of reintroduced me back into society." What Lorde wasn't planning…
