Ella Henderson Performing at NBA All-Star Pre-Game Showcase

Ella Henderson has been added to the NBA All-Star pre-game festivities. The 19-year-old British singer will perform her hit single “Ghost” during the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night showcase at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday. The evening will conclude with the Sprite Slam Dunk competition. The pre-game special will be broadcast on TNT beginning at 7:30 pm ET. The NBA All-Star Game will take place the following night at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, and will include performances by Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande. Katy Perry Sees Album Sales Boost After Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Artists don't get paid to play the Super Bowl because it's essentially a giant commercial for them and their music.  Case in point: Katy Perry has received a decent album sales boost in the week following the big game. According to Billboard, Katy sold a total of 29,000 albums in the week post-Super Bowl. That’s up 38 percent compared to the week leading up to the February 1 event. Among her catalog, her biggest seller of post-Super Bowl week was her most recent album Prism, which was up 52 percent with 13,000 copies sold. Katy’s song sales went up, too.…
