Incredible Mimi: Mariah Carey Shows Off Her Lap Dance Skills

Singer Mariah Carey is taking a page from Beyonce and Nicki Minaj's performance handbook as the singer was seen giving a fan a lap dance in Johannesburg, South Africa during the Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour's last show on May 2. Carey, dressed in a black sequined leotard, was seen straddling dancer and choreographer Bryan Tanaka during her performance of "Touch My Body." The dancer, who has also worked with Beyonce, was brought on stage, blindfolded and was put on a chair as Mariah dramatically bounced herself from side to side as she sat in his lap. To see the full…

Rob Thomas on Summer Tour Memories, Saluting Prince & Playing North Carolina (or Not)

Rob Thomas is one of the many artists hitting the road this summer, on a double bill with his pals Counting Crows.  He says he'll be paying tribute to Prince in his set, and is also weighing whether or not he really wants to cancel his tour date in North Carolina, as many other artists have done this year. Rob was in New York City on Tuesday as part of Live Nation's National Concert Day Show and event, which featured everyone from the Goo Goo Dolls and Nick Jonas, to rapper Wiz Khalifa and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers…

"The Voice": Team Pharrell Down to One Artist

Pharrell Williams has only one artist remaining on his The Voice team following the latest results show. Daniel Passino, who was "Instantly Saved" last week, was eliminated Tuesday night, losing a social media vote to Nick Hagelin of Team Christina Aguilera. That leaves Hannah Huston as the only artist remaining on Team Pharrell.  Before the "Instant Save" vote, Daniel and Nick both performed. Nick sang “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran, while Daniel tackled "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. During the one-hour broadcast, Joe Jonas' band DNCE stopped by to perform their songs "Toothbrush" and "Cake by…

Stormy Weather Causes Problems at Beyonce's NC Tour Stop

Stormy weather interfered with Beyoncé's concert in Raleigh, North Carolina, Tuesday night. Heavy rain and lightning led to the folks in charge temporarily suspending the performance at Carter-Finley Stadium as fans took cover, ABC affiliate WTVD-TV reports. The show resumed around 11:30 p.m. local time. The weather caused problems before the concert, too. The gates were scheduled to open at 5:30, but that was pushed back due to lightning. Nick Jonas Explains Why His Joint Tour with Demi Lovato "Made Perfect Sense"

This summer, buddies Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato are teaming up for their joint Honda Civic "Future Now" tour, in support of Demi's album Confident, and Nick's upcoming disc Last Year Was Complicated. Nick says that given where the former Disney stars are now in their careers, a double bill just "made perfect sense." "We always knew it was a possibility, the idea that we would go out together, and that at some point and time that would happen," Nick tells ABC Radio.  "I think that over the last year, so much has developed for Demi and I career-wise -–…

Demi Lovato Hints Next Album Will Deal with Pain and Loss

Demi Lovato is about to embark on a tour with Nick Jonas this summer, but she’s already thinking even further ahead. In a new cover story with Latina magazine, Demi says she’s ready to tap into some raw emotions for her next album -- which she promises will be a more "soulful" follow-up to 2015’s sassy Confident. “There’s a lot of pain that I experienced over the past year, and I’m so ready to write about it,” she says. “I’ve stayed sober through it all, I’m a stronger person, but it’s definitely been a very painful year.” Demi suffered the…

Her Signature Accessory: Check Out Lorde’s Celeb-Signed Cast

Safe to say Lorde has the best souvenir from last night’s Met Gala. The singer, who broke her arm before the big event, had her cast signed by a slew of the A-listers in attendance. “If u ever wanna know who was at the 2016 met gala they're all on my arm,” she writes on Instagram, along with a photo of her autographed cast. Among those who adorned her plaster with Sharpie-drawn messages: her bestie Taylor Swift and Kanye West, who signed it “Yeezus.” Once that cast comes off, Lorde could make a killing on eBay. Lady Gaga Rocks the Met Gala After-Party with Mark Ronson

After walking the Met Gala red carpet in a tech-inspired bodysuit and sky-high platforms, Lady Gaga took the stage at the event’s after-party last night. She and Mark Ronson rocked out on electric guitars for a special performance of Talking Heads’ 1983 new wave song “Burning Down the House.” Gaga changed out of her silver Versace outfit in favor of a more comfortable T-shirt and blazer. A couple of months ago, Mark confirmed he’s been working on Gaga’s new album -- a follow-up to 2013’s ARTPOP. Copyright © 2016, ABC Radio. All rights reserved.

Gwen Stefani Impersonates Emojis in “Carpool Karaoke” Teaser

By the looks of it, Gwen Stefani would make a great road trip buddy. In a new teaser clip for her “Carpool Karoake” segment on The Late Late Show, Gwen joins James Corden to sing some tunes and imitate emojis. The two sing along to one of Gwen’s old No Doubt hits, “Don’t Speak,” and her newer single, “Used to Love You.” James also asks her to give her impressions of the red lady dancing emoji, the kissy face emoji and the eggplant emoji. He stumps her with that last one. Gwen’s “Carpool Karaoke” airs Wednesday on CBS. Copyright ©…
