Assault Charge Against Justin Bieber Withrawn in Canada

There's at least some good news on the legal front for Justin Bieber: an assault charge filed against him in his home country of Canada has been withdrawn. According to the Toronto Star, the charge involved the complaint by a limo driver in Toronto, who claimed that this past December 30, Justin hit him. The singer was arrested on the charge in January.  However, it's now been withdrawn by prosecutors because there was "no reasonable prospect of conviction."  Despite evidence that included surveillance video, a 911 call and police interviews with witnesses, prosecutors determined that there simply wasn't enough evidence…

  Miley Cyrus can act, sing and write songs...and now she's turning her attention to the world of fine art.  The Queen of Twerk will unveil her first art collection, called "Dirty Hippie," this week in New York City. Simone Battle's Death Ruled a Suicide

The death of Simone Battle, a member of the group G.R.L. and a former X Factor contestant, has been ruled a suicide by hanging, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Department announced Sunday. Battle, 25, was found dead in her West Hollywood home on Friday. On Saturday, the following tweet was posted on the official G.R.L. Twitter account: "Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Train Frontman Wants to Gift His Hometown with Free Show

Train's new album Bulletproof Picasso is coming September 16, and they'll start a lengthy North American tour next year.  Frontman Pat Monahan is hoping that in 2015, the band has room in its schedule for a special free show just for his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. Selena Gomez Signs New Record Deal, "Greatest Hits" in the Works

While Selena Gomez has been focusing on her acting more than her music lately, the music is not falling by the wayside: Hits Daily Double reports that she's just inked a new record deal.
