Kanye West Settles Paparazzo Civil Lawsuit

Kanye West has settled a lawsuit filed by a paparazzo he attacked.   Last year, West pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery in connection with a confrontation he had with the photographer, Daniel Ramos, at Los Angeles International Airport in July of 2013.  The lawsuit was scheduled to go to trial next week. However, Ramos' attorney Gloria Allred said in a statement on Tuesday that the case had been settled and West had apologized to her client. Allred also shared with the media a rather awkward photo of West, smiling, as he shook Ramos' hand. "He's been excited to come here," ESPN reports the golfer said in a pre-tournament press conference. "He's never been to…

The Lowdown on Madonna’s Meerkat Video Premiere of “Ghosttown”

A rep for Madonna told ABC Radio Tuesday that the video for her new single “Ghosttown” will be premiering on the live-streaming app Meerkat Wednesday, with a roll-out on Vevo later in the day. This should clear up any confusion for the pop icon’s fans, who were eagerly anticipating the video’s release today. The new visual was reportedly supposed to debut on Meerkat at 1 p.m. ET, and when it failed to appear, fans were left wondering what went wrong. “This video was supposed to premiere today on Meerkat,” one angry fan commented on Idolator. “I waited all night for…

George Ezra's Never Been to "Budapest"

George Ezra's breakout hit "Budapest" is taken from his debut album Wanted on Voyage, which he wrote after taking a month-long train trip through Europe.  Ironically, though, he never actually made it to that Hungarian city. In an interview with San Francisco publication The Bay Bridged, the British singer explains that he took the train trip to get inspired to write songs, but Budapest was the only city on his list of places to visit that he didn't make it to, because he overslept and missed his train.
