Adam Lambert Delivering Final "American Idol" Performance Next Week

Adam Lambert is heading back to American Idol one last time. According to Billboard, the season eight runner-up will return to the show next Thursday for “a very special final performance.” In addition to Adam’s return, the six remaining contestants will be singing songs picked by viewers for the theme week called “America’s Choice.” Only one contestant will be eliminated next week, following two weeks of double eliminations. The 2016 NCAA March Madness Music Festival has added some new performers to the lineup.
