Nick Jonas has released the moody new video to accompany his hip-hop-influenced jam, “Area Code.”
In the black-and-white clip, a hoodie-wearing Nick sings in the rain, takes the stage to perform for a large crowd, and then hops on a helicopter and takes off.
“Don’t know why I do it but I do/Every time I have a drink of two/I get it bad for you,” he sings on the partially autotuned track.
Nick hinted his new album -- which will come out sometime early next year -- would have more of a hip-hop, soulful sound, and this song fits that…

The Weeknd is ready for the weekend -- specifically, this Saturday night. Ahead of his serving as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, the Canadian singer has filmed some promos with host Amy Schumer.
In the first two clips, he pretty much just looks on silently as Amy and SNL cast member Kate McKinnon joke around. In the third clip, both The Weeknd and Amy try to dodge Kate’s hangout invite.
Saturday will mark The Weeknd’s first time as the featured musical guest on SNL. He did perform on the show once before though, joining Ariana Grande to sing…

Eminem is the latest artist to pay tribute to the late Tupac Shakur. Following Kendrick Lamar's heartfelt ode on the 19th anniversary of the rapper's death, Slim Shady has penned a touching tribute for Paper magazine’s October “Nowstalgia” issue.
Em believes Pac's greatest gift was his poetic rap style. "The way he chose which words to say with which beat was genius; it’s like he knew what part of the beat and what chord change was the right place to hit these certain words… to make them jump off the track and make you feel what he was saying," Em…

Are you getting sick of hearing about Taylor Swift’s special on-stage tour guests? Too bad, says Taylor. She does it for the fans -- not the haters.
“There’s really nothing I can do about it, because I’m living my life the way I want to live it,” she tells NME of dealing with negativity. “If you want to be snarky about me sharing my stage with other artists and giving these fans -- who’ve paid their own money to see a show -- more than they expected to see that night, if you’d like to be snarky about that, then…
