Kelly Clarkson Loves Date Nights with Her Hubby

They may be busy parents, but Kelly Clarkson and her hubby, Brandon Blackstock, still make time for romance. Kelly tells People magazine it’s vital to call in a babysitter every once in a while and have a night out with your spouse. “As a couple, we think that date nights are important,” she says. “We are both from broken homes and as a result you may not take time for yourselves as a couple. So we love our date nights.” The singer is mom to 9-month-old daughter River Rose and stepmom to Brandon’s children from a previous relationship, 13-year-old Savannah…

Meghan Trainor to Headline Largest US Lesbian Event This Weekend

Meghan Trainor may sing about attracting boys with her booty in "All About that Bass," but it seems she appeals to women as well.  This weekend, the singer will be one of the headliners at The Dinah, a five-day festival in Palm Springs, California that's the country's largest event for lesbians. Meghan will perform Saturday night at the Palm Springs Convention Center as part of the festival, which also features pool parties, dance parties, comedy shows and other entertainment.  Christina Perri is also on the bill for this year's event. Other top stars who've headlined The Dinah over the years…

Sara Bareilles' "Waitress" Musical Will Make Stage Debut in August

Sara Bareilles’ Waitress musical is finally making its stage debut. The American Repertory Theater announced that the show, based on the 2007 film starring Keri Russell, will begin performances in August at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. If that run proves successful, the show will head to Broadway. Sara announced back in 2013 that she would be writing the music and lyrics for the production. "Broadway scoring is something that has really been interesting to me my whole life,” she told ABC Radio at the time. “Musical theater is sort of how I got introduced to music at…

Iggy Azalea Has Only One Line in "Furious 7" Cameo

It probably didn’t take Iggy Azalea long to prepare for her cameo in Furious 7. She only has one line! According to Billboard, the Aussie rapper makes her appearance after Michelle Rodriguez’s character, Letty, who was previously presumed dead, wins a quarter-mile race. A crowd gathers around Letty in celebration and that’s when Iggy delivers her line: "Hey, there's the girl I've heard so much about. Where you been at, ghost girl?" That’s just slightly more than Rita Ora got to say in her blink-and-you’ll-miss it cameo in Fast & Furious 6. Rita also had exactly four short sentences of dialogue…

Maddie Ziegler Always Knows What Sia's Videos Mean

If you've ever watched Sia's videos for "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" and wondered exactly what they mean, you're not alone.  But 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler of Dance Moms, who starred in both of those clips, as well as in the brand-new one for the song "Big Girls Cry," says the reclusive singer/songwriter always tells her exactly what's going on in each video.  According to Maddie, she couldn't dance in them if she didn't know. "She does tell me what I’m doing, because it would be hard to do a dance and not know what character I’m portraying," Maddie tells ABC Radio.…

On "Ellen," Kelly Clarkson Laughs Off Criticism About Her Weight; Does Bathroom Duet

Kelly Clarkson's been everywhere lately promoting her new album, Piece by Piece, and some people have made unkind comments about her weight.  In particular, a British journalist and TV personality harshly criticized the singer on Twitter.  While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, Kelly laughed off the criticism, saying she's been dealing with it since she appeared on American Idol more than a decade ago. "Yeah, I was the biggest girl on the show...and I wasn't big, but people would call me big 'cause I was the biggest one on Idol," Kelly told Ellen. "And I've kinda always gotten…

Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris Get Very Close at HAIM Concert

Taylor Swift's good friends with the sister group HAIM, so it's not surprising she attended their concert Thursday in Hollywood.  HAIM also collaborated with Scottish deejay and producer Calvin Harris on the song "Pray to God" on his latest album, so it's also unsurprising he'd be at the show as well.  But what is surprising is the two not only attended the show together, they made no attempt to hide their apparently budding romance. As E! reports, Taylor was sitting on Calvin's lap during the show, and he had his arms around her.  When the two left, they held hands. …

Kanye West is reportedly being sued by a member of a Latin music act for allegedly stealing the group's name and sullying it, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. Loisaidas is the name of a Latin music duo that gets its name from a slang term for New York City's Lower East Side. It's also the title of a new movie about life on the streets of Harlem, executive produced by West and his former Roc-a-Fella Records collaborator, Damon Dash. The two recently reunited for the film.
