Police: "No Crime Occurred" in Latest Justin Bieber Mobile Phone Incident

Los Angeles police say that contrary to a report on TMZ, Justin Bieber is not facing charges of robbery. The Los Angeles Times reports that police responded to a call at a Dave & Buster's in Hollywood Monday night after someone used their mobile phone to shoot video of Justin.  There was a report that Justin's security team may have forcibly taken the phone, but it turned out not to be true, according to police. Kelly Clarkson Joining Country Star Trisha Yearwood on New Single

Last year, Kelly Clarkson had one of her favorite country stars, Trisha Yearwood, make a guest appearance on her Christmas album.  Now, Kelly's returning the favor, joining Trisha on her new single. It's called "PrizeFighter," and it's the title track of Trisha's upcoming album.  The inspirational song "just plain rocks," according to Trisha, so it's no wonder she tapped Kelly to sing on it.  The track arrives September 15. Phillip Phillips Extends Tour into Fall & Winter

After spending all summer on the road with the band O.A.R., Phillip Phillips isn't heading home just yet: he's just announced dates for a new headlining tour of North America. The trek gets underway September 12 at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and will wrap up December 7 in Phoenix, Arizona.  Most tickets go on sale August 29.  Phillip will be promoting his current album Behind the Light, and his new single, "Unpack Your Heart," the follow-up to his hit "Raging Fire." Miley Tops MTV VMA Tweets

What was the most tweeted-about moment of Sunday night's MTV VMAs?  If you guessed Beyonce, you'd be wrong. USA Today reports that according to NielsenSocial's figures, Miley Cyrus' win for Video of the Year for "Wrecking Ball" generated the most tweets per minute: a total of 138,792.  Beyonce's epic 15-minute performance came in second, with 97,153 tweets per minute.  Lorde came in third place: her win for Best Rock Video generated 89,029 tweets per minute. Eminem has a new project on the way. The rapper has announced that he will release his ninth album, Shady XV, this fall. The two-CD compilation will feature an album of Shady Records' greatest hits and a disc of new material from Em, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf, and is due November 28.
