Sia Thrilled with Jim Carrey's "Saturday Night Live" "Chandelier" Dance Performance

One of the highlights of Saturday Night Live last weekend was a skit in which host Jim Carrey tries to win a Halloween costume competition by dressing up, and then dancing like, the little girl in Sia's famous video for "Chandelier."  One viewer in particular enjoyed the skit: Sia herself. The notoriously-private Australian singer jumped on Twitter Saturday and Sunday to comment about how happy she was with the skit, which featured Carrey and SNL cast member Kate McKinnon both dressed as little Maddie Ziegler, who wears a nude-colored leotard and a blonde bob wig in the "Chandelier" video while…

Kelly Clarkson & Taylor Swift Gush on Twitter After Kelly Covers "Shake It Off"

Earlier this month, Kelly Clarkson covered Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" during a North Carolina concert performance.  At her concert in Buffalo, NY over the weekend, she threw in another cover: Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" -- and Taylor was quite appreciative. During the concert, Kelly told the audience, "This is a church song. This is a soulful song. This is one of my favorite songs out right now."  As the audience cheered, she laughed, "You think you know it, but you don't -- it's not Sam Smith!"  She then launched into "Shake It Off," but turned the first verse…

Happy 30th Birthday, Katy Perry!

Katy Perry turns 30 Saturday, and according to reports, she'll be spending her big day with her friends and her crew in Morocco -- and possibly scarfing down a cake covered in Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip frosting.  But whether or not the singer actually feels 30 is a different matter. "I still feel 13 on the inside," Katy told People magazine back in July. "I think you see a lot of my [inner] child in the show onstage.  I tweeted the other day, 'Sometimes it's hard being a child in this adult body.'"  But Katy did say that she had…

Iggy Azalea Copes with Jim Carrey's Hip-Hop Humor in "Saturday Night Live" Promos

Iggy Azalea is the musical guest for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, hosted by Jim Carrey, and she can’t hold her laughter as he assumes the identity of rapper “J. Care” in one of the show's video promos. With a chest full of gold chains, Carrey has the TV crew roaring as his gold grill drops out of his mouth while he was “dropping mad rhymes and jokes.” Azalea announces, “It’s going to be a Halloween-themed party bash,” and he tells her what is really scary is, “Trying to love me.” The Dumb and Dumber To star also has fun…

Usher on Justin Bieber: "I'm Not Happy with All the Choices [He's] Made"

Usher is usually diplomatic when it comes to his one-time protege Justin Bieber and the Biebs' recent troubles.  But in his new cover story for Billboard, the singer admits he's not that pleased with Justin's behavior lately. "Our relationship is more man-to-man now," he tells Billboard. "He's making his own decisions and it's important to show support. I can say I'm not happy with all the choices my friend has made, but I'm supportive of him. I try my hardest to give as much positive reinforcement as I can. I'll punch him in the f***ing chest when I need to,…

Mariah & Nick's Kids Unaffected by Their Parents' Split, Says Nick

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's marriage may be on the way to being over, but their split hasn't affected their twins at all, according to Nick. Appearing on Friday's Meredith Vieira Show, Nick said of twins Moroccan and Monroe -- affectionately referred to as "dem babies" -- "They're just happy. They love mommy.  They love daddy."  That's because, as Nick explained, the kids are used to one of their parents or the other being gone for long periods of time. "We have always been people who have been on the go, coming and going, their life hasn't changed one bit,"…

One Direction, Danny DeVito Get Surreal in the Desert with "Steal My Girl" Video

One Direction's video for "Steal My Girl" has just been released, and it shows once again that the guys definitely do not take themselves too seriously. In the clip, Niall, Liam, Zayn, Harry, and Louis emerge from their trailer in the desert on the set of their video shoot, wondering where the director is.  That's when the pretentious director, played by actor/director DannyDeVito, pulls up in a car and starts talking about how he's going to help the guys take it to "the next level," declaring, "We're here in the name of art.  We're here to commit ourselves to a…
