It seems all that touring really paid off. According to Forbes, Katy Perry is the highest-paid musician of the year. She raked in $135 million, mostly thanks to her long-running Prismatic World Tour which grossed more than $2 million per city. One Direction takes the number two spot on the list, having generated $130 million this year, and Taylor Swift comes in fourth place with $80 million. Alessia Cara is the first performer to be announced for the 2016 Juno Awards -- Canada’s equivalent of the Grammys.
