Ed Sheeran to guest star on "Game of Thrones"; Smashes British chart records, debuts at #1 US

Ed Sheeran's favorite TV show is Game of Thrones, and he's also friendly with the cast, so it'll be a dream come true when he guest-stars in season seven. According to Variety, the news of Ed's cameo was announced at the South by Southwest Festival by Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.  "For years, we tried to get Ed Sheeran on the show to surprise Maisie, and this year we finally did it,” Benioff said, referring to Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark. As for exactly which character Ed might be playing, HBO would only tell Variety,…

Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes and Selena Gomez are winners at 2017 Kids' Choice Awards

The Kids' Choice Awards arrived with a green splat Saturday night inside the University of Southern California's Galen Center in Los Angeles. Hollywood's biggest stars -- including host John Cena, Demi Lovato and Kevin Hart -- ended up covered in slime. It was a special night, special enough to reunite exes:  Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon dressed like their 5-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, and Seal and Heidi Klum turned the awards show into a family affair, bringing their four children together. And it was the one awards show this season where Adele was beaten out by Selena Gomez.  It…

Pearl Jam plans to invite all five drummers who played with the band to Rock Hall ceremony

When Pearl Jam is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month, two drummers will be going in as part of the band -- current drummer Matt Cameron and original drummer Dave Krusen -- but not three other drummers who played with the band during its career -- Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons.  But apparently Pearl Jam intends to invite all five drummers to the induction ceremony in Brooklyn on April 7, even if only two are actually being enshrined. In a handwritten note posted to Twitter on Saturday, the band writes, "We do feel…

Lorde silently tolerates jokes in "SNL" promos

Lorde will perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend. In a promo for the episode, she and host Scarlett Johansson stand silently as cast-member Beck Bennett jokes about the musician "dropping" new music.  Another promo has Bennett going on and on about how everyone should "buckle up" for the episode before having a mini breakdown. Again, Lorde mostly stands silently. While she's silent in the SNL promos, Lorde hasn't been quiet when it comes to her music. This week, she shared a new song called "Liability," which followed last week's release of the single "Green Light." Both songs will appear…

Ed Sheeran's scar story is completely fake, says his pal James Blunt

By now, everyone knows how Ed Sheeran got his scar: he and Princess Beatrice and his pal James Blunt were goofing around, she pretended to knight James with a ceremonial sword, missed, and hit Ed instead.  Except...apparently, that never happened. Speaking to Shortlist.com, James Blunt says that the entire story was something that he and Ed concocted after Ed hurt himself.  "Ed was drunk, messing around, and he cut himself," claims James. "We made a fancy story up; people fell for it. It was very embarrassing." Pressed to reveal exactly how much was made up, James says, "All of it.…

Taylor Swift stalker charged, due in court in April

Taylor Swift's got some major "Bad Blood" with a 29-year-old man who's been stalking her. Court records said Mohammed Jaffar had been lurking around Swift’s $20 million home in New York's Tribeca district over the last couple of months, including one time on February 13 when he rang her doorbell “for approximately one hour.” He allegedly returned the next day and rang the bell for 45 minutes.  Before that, on February 6, court records said Jaffar entered Swift’s building, loitered around her hallway and even hung out on the roof of the building for almost four hours.  Between late January…
