Adam Levine taps "beautiful" Joe Jonas as guest mentor for "The Voice"

The Voice coach Adam Levine claims he chose the guest mentor for his team this season based on physical appearance alone. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Adam jokes that he tapped DNCE frontman Joe Jonas for the job because, as Adam puts it, "He's a beautiful man." But all joking aside, Adam says Joe was a good choice because their personalities are so different. "He's very...mellow, which is good, 'cause it kind of balances me out," Adam explains. "He offers good advice, and very sound advice. I trust his opinion, because I'm a fan of him. Whenever you can trust that…

Ryan Tedder wants to invent a new album model

Ryan Tedder is ready to invent a new album format. After OneRepublic nearly burnt out while promoting their last album Oh My My in 2016, Ryan says he doesn’t see them putting out a traditional full-length any time soon. As of right now, they’ve decided to just release singles -- like the dance-y tune “Rich Love” -- whenever they want to. But Ryan also has ideas to shake up the music industry with a new model. “An EP is too small, so I’m thinking like seven songs, call it a CP: Condensed Play,” he says. Tedder adds, “I think that…

"Despacito" video is first on YouTube to top 3 billion views

Three billion and counting.  On Friday, the video for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's smash "Despacito" broke the YouTube record for most-viewed video, passing Charlie Puth and Whiz Khalifa's "See You Again" by reaching 2.994 billion views. And over the weekend the video blew straight through the three-billion-views barrier. It's the first video ever on YouTube to top three billion views. That number doesn't even count the views for the audio-only YouTube video of the "Despacito" remix featuring Justin Bieber, which has more than 474,000 views of its own. “Breaking the record for most viewed video of all time on YouTube is truly incredible, not only for…

“Despacito” surpasses “See You Again” as most-viewed video on YouTube

People aren’t just listening to “Despacito” non-stop -- they’re watching the music video quite a lot, too. According to Billboard, the Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee track is now the top-viewed video on YouTube. It surpasses Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.” The “Despacito” video now has more than 2.994 billion views, while “See You Again” is just slightly behind, with around 2.993 billion. The video, funny enough, doesn’t even include Justin Bieber. It features the original track, not the Bieber remix. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved.
