Zedd, Major Lazer and Big Sean to headline "Billboard's" 2017 Hot 100 Music Festival

The Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival is returning to Long Island's Jones Beach Theater for a third year in a row, and this time, the headliners include Zedd, Major Lazer and Big Sean. Now, we can't promise that Justin Bieber will show up to perform "Cold Water" with Major Lazer, but it's possible, since he'll be performing in New Jersey just a few days after the festival. The festival, scheduled for August 19-20, will feature a diverse line up of acts, from pop, rock and R&B to dance and electronic music.  Other artists on the bill include Echosmith, Bebe Rexha,…

Liam Payne & a very deep-voiced Ed Sheeran team for "Strip that Down"

Liam Payne is the fifth, and last, current or former One Direction member to release a solo single.  His new track "Strip That Down" features Quavo of the hip-hip trio Migos, and was co-written by Ed Sheeran. In fact, Ed makes a guest appearance on it...but you may not realize it. The song features a deep male voice saying, "Strip that down girl/love when you hit the ground."  During an appearance on BBC Radio 1, Liam revealed that the voice belongs to none other than Ed...it's just been pitched way, way down. "Honestly, I feel so blessed and lucky that…

Judge rules Prince's six siblings are legal heirs to his estate

Over a year after Prince died, a Minnesota judge has ruled that the late musician's six siblings are the legal heirs to his estate. The ruling came Friday in Carver County, MI, where Prince lived and worked on his Paisley Park estate. Carver County District Judge Kevin Eide declared that Prince's sister, Tyka Nelson, and Prince's five half-siblings are his heirs: Omarr Baker, Alfred Jackson, Sharon Nelson, Norrine Nelson, and John R. Nelson. Prince, born Prince Rogers Nelson, died without leaving a will -- or at least, none that's so far been found.  Beginning in the weeks after his death,…

Is Katy Perry going after Taylor Swift with "Swish Swish?" Ruby Rose thinks so

Remember when Katy Perry sidestepped the question of whether her new album included a "payback" song for Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood?"  Looks like we have our answer. Katy's new single is called "Swish Swish," and features guest artist Nicki Minaj, who's tangled with Taylor publicly.  And the lyrics aren't exactly subtle. "Don't you come for me/no, not today/you're calculated/I got your number/'Cause you're a joker and I'm a courtside killer queen/and you will kiss the ring," Katy sings.  In another verse, she sings, "Karma's not a liar/she keeps receipts." Taylor's friend, actress Ruby Rose, evidently believes that the song slams…

Katy Perry's cannibalistic new video breaks her own YouTube record

Seems like a lot of people are into the idea of Katy Perry being boiled and served with a side of vegetables to a bunch of hungry club patrons.  That's the premise of her new video for her song "Bon Appetit," and according to Variety, it just broke her own YouTube record. The bizarre video grabbed 16.8 million views on its first day of release, more than her previous record-holder, "Roar."  "Bon Appetit" also earned the most channel views in a single calendar day -- 25 million -- and the highest number of playlist adds in a day: 84,000. At…

Check out that last note: Kelly Clarkson sings the anthem for the Nashville Predators

These days, Nashville is more than a little obsessed with its hockey team’s most successful run ever toward the Stanley Cup. But if you’ve been keeping up with the Nashville Predators at all, you know the action on the ice is not the only reason to watch the games. During the playoffs, the Preds have offered up an array of superstars to sing the national anthem, and Thursday night brought the biggest one yet. "Bad Things," the hit duet by Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello, is nominated for Top Rap Collaboration at this Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.  While Kelly says he'd be OK if he and Camila didn't win, taking home the trophy would be "one more last little sparkle" for the duo. "I mean, we weren't expecting it, it was like lightning in a bottle," the rapper, born Colson Baker Kelly, tells ABC Radio of the song's success. "So while it was happening, we were like, 'OK, let's just fully live in the moment'...when [it] was number one, I'll never forget: I…

Harry Styles concludes his residency on "The Late Late Show" with “Carpool Karaoke” and a performance of “Kiwi“

Harry Styles finished his week-long residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden Thursday night with a new edition of “Carpool Karaoke” and a performance of “Kiwi“ from his new, self-titled album. Things got underway quickly as host and driver James Corden reminded Harry that the last time he joined him for a ride was with One Direction and he sat in the back. Styles laughed when he said he felt like he had more control “over the buttons” being seated up front. The two friends started off singing Harry’s new single, “Sign of the Times,” in which Corden…

Lorde releases "Melodrama" track list

Lorde has described her upcoming album, Melodrama, as a kind of house party on record where one minute a song comes on that makes you feel ecstatic, another moment a sad song plays while you're alone in the bathroom examining your life. That may or may not be clear from the titles of the songs on the album, but at least now we know what they are. Lorde took to Twitter on Thursday evening to reveal the track list, providing no further details other than to reiterate that the album is coming June 16. Here's the Melodrama track list: "Green…
