Imagine Dragons' latest album came after a much-needed break: "We were pretty unhealthy"

Imagine Dragons' latest album Evolve debuted at #2 and has produced a massive hit single, "Believer."  Frontman Dan Reynolds says there's a big difference in how they made this album, compared to their previous releases: They took a break to focus on their well-being before heading back into the studio. "It was the first time that we actually took time off the road to go home and kinda recuperate between album cycles, and I think that was really good for us," Dan tells ABC Radio.  He laughs, "It got us in a healthy spot...we were pretty unhealthy, to be honest!"…

Pink announces new album, "Beautiful Trauma"

It's been a while since Pink fans have had a new album from the singer, but that's about to change. Pink announced on Wednesday that her upcoming album is titled Beautiful Trauma and will be out October 13. "I'm certifiably, insanely proud of this album," Pink wrote on Instagram. "It's been a while, and I'm grateful for all the years we've had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you." She also posted an image of what is presumably the album's cover art -- Pink herself, in a open down parka, rhinestoned bustier and sunglasses, standing in front of an…

Kendrick Lamar weighs in on Taylor vs. Katy: "That's some *real* beef"

When Taylor Swift decided to release a remix of her song "Bad Blood," she tapped superstar rapper Kendrick Lamar to contribute a verse.  Now, Kendrick admits that, at the time, he had no idea that the song was designed to be a takedown of Taylor's former friend Katy Perry. Asked by Rolling Stone if he was aware that he was "taking sides in a pop beef" by appearing on "Bad Blood," Kendrick laughs and says, "No, I wasn't aware of that, bro. That's a great question. No! On the record, no. Which makes it even more funny now, for sure."…

Taylor's mom takes the stand: "He sexually assaulted her. *That* guy."

Taylor Swift's mother Andrea delivered some emotional testimony Wednesday afternoon in Denver, at one point looking at David Mueller -- the deejay who is suing her daughter -- and saying, "He sexually assaulted her. That guy." Mueller has sued Taylor, saying her claim that he groped her during a meet-and-greet in 2013 is false, and caused him to be fired.  Taylor has countersued, claiming assault and battery for "offensive and harmful physical contact."  On Wednesday, Andrea Swift said she didn't witness the alleged incident, but after Taylor told her about it, she "wanted to vomit and cry at the same…

Deejay in Taylor Swift case agrees it's "never inappropriate" for a woman to report being touched

Morning testimony is now complete on Day 3 of the trial involving Taylor Swift and David Mueller, the Denver, Colorado deejay she claimed groped her during a concert meet-and-greet in 2013. During his cross-examination of Mueller, Doug Baldridge, Taylor's attorney, asked the deejay, "Can we agree that if you accidentally touched Miss Swift’s rear, she’d have a right to not like that?”  Mueller agreed.  He and Baldridge both agreed that a photo taken at the meet-and-greet, which shows Mueller's arm and hand below Taylor's waist level, looks "awkward." "Would it have been possible to put your hand somewhere other than…

Liam Payne on One Direction's future: "We have to" reunite

Last month, Louis Tomlinson said there was "no question" that One Direction would reunite one day.  Turns out bandmate Liam Payne agrees. Speaking to Buzzfeed, Liam says, "Yes, I think we will reunite at some point in the future. We have to -- I mean, we’ve got an album we haven’t even toured yet, and I want to write some more songs as well with the boys." That album was Made in the A.M., which came out in November of 2015 and was the group's first without Zayn Malik.  It was a huge hit, but after its release, the group…

An emotional Kesha says new album, "Rainbow," "quite literally saved my life"

Kesha's long-awaited new album, Rainbow, arrives on Friday, but she appeared on ABC's Good Morning America Wednesday to talk about the disc, which comes in the wake of a long, highly-publicized legal battle with her producer, Dr. Luke, and her record label.  According to Kesha, recording the album is what kept her going through that painful experience. "I think this record...quite literally saved my life," she told ABC's Robin Roberts. "And I hope you guys like it, and I hope you can hear it, and I hope it helps people." Kesha also performed the album's first single, "Praying," and choked…

Mariah Carey's former choreographer says her performances are "lackluster"

Mariah Carey's performances have been heavily scrutinized by fans since her controversial New Year's Rockin' Eve appearance, which was plagued by technical difficulties.   But the superstar's former choreographer and creative director, Anthony Burrell  -- who was fired right after the New Year's Eve debacle -- tells Complex that the singer's recent shows are actually just "typical Mariah."  He explains, "Mariah is clear: when she doesn't wanna do something, she doesn't do it. She's performing with [sic] lackluster and no f**** given, and it's taking away her star." Burrell adds that without his guidance, Mimi's onstage capabilities have visibly dropped "to where she was before"…

Find out which "Magic" singer was James Corden's favorite "Carpool Karaoke" star

While James Corden's Carpool Karaoke episode featuring his friend Adele is probably the most-watched installment of the popular series, she wasn't his favorite guest of all time. James says he enjoyed taping the episode with the singer who WAS his favorite so much that actually he became "depressed" when it was over.
