A source tells People magazine that Katy's beau Orlando Bloom wants to put a ring on it, big time.  They're "not engaged yet, but seem to be heading that way," dishes the source. And once they're married, the British actor reportedly is looking to expand his family. Orlando, who's the father of five-year-old Flynn with his ex, Miranda Kerr, "always gushes about Katy and thinks she is…

Thank Sia, Drake, MAGIC! & More for Reggae's Comeback, Says Shaggy

Reggae never seems to go away, and there's been a resurgence recently, thanks to hits like "Rude," "Cheerleader," "One Dance" and "Ride," plus Sia's "Cheap Thrills" and MAGIC!'s "Lay You Down Easy," both of which feature reggae star Sean Paul.   According to reggae/pop crossover king Shaggy, hits like these help younger fans discover the genre. "If it’s on a mainstream [hit] like Drake or Rihanna, then they’re introduced to it," Shaggy tells ABC Radio. "They at least say, 'Oh wow, I like this sound.'" Shaggy, who's topped pop charts worldwide with hits like "It Wasn't Me," "Angel" and "Boombastic," adds,…

Katy Perry Started Writing "Rise" Years Before the Olympics

Katy Perry's latest hit "Rise" seems tailor-made for the Olympics, so it's surprising to hear that she actually wrote a big chunk of it before the Olympics ever came calling. Speaking to Mashable, Katy says, "'Rise' is a song that I have had swirling around in me. It's a little bit like the story of the phoenix, about overcoming...Rising up again or finding that inner strength again and again, that's a lifelong theme for me.  Years ago I had tried to write it, but it didn't work, it didn't come out right." She continues, "And when the Olympics approached us…

Selena Gomez's Snapchat Post Seems to Address Justin Bieber Instagram Spat

It’s probably too late to say "sorry," but Selena Gomez has posted what seems to be somewhat of an apology to her ex, Justin Bieber. In a simple Snapchat post that went up after Justin deactivated his Instagram account Tuesday, Selena wrote, “What I said was selfish and pointless.” Her post would appear to be in reference to the comments she reportedly left on an Instagram photo of the Biebs and his rumored new girlfriend, Sofia Richie. After Justin threatened to make his account private if fans didn’t stop harassing Sofia, Selena allegedly wrote, “If you can’t handle the hate…
