Ariana Grande on "Ellen" Shyly Confirms She’s Dating Mac Miller

Ariana Grande is taking her new relationship public -- with a little prodding from Ellen DeGeneres. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, Ariana outright confirmed that she’s dating rapper Mac Miller and that she’s very happy. Ellen seemingly ambushed her with the relationship question, because Ariana was visibly flustered. “Oh God. I dunno, man. This is so crazy, I wasn’t prepared,” the singer said. The host then showed a video clip from the first time Ariana and Mac performed her song “The Way” on Ellen. “I asked you something about him and you said, ‘Oh, I’m his…

Miley Cyrus Gets Hippie Dippy in Trailer for Woody Allen's New Amazon Series

The news that Miley Cyrus is one of the stars of Woody Allen's new Amazon TV series was surprising to some, but now we've gotten a look at her in action in a newly released trailer...and, well, she's just being Miley. The show, Crisis in Six Scenes, is about a suburban family in the 1960s struggling to move with the societal upheaval of the times.  Miley plays Lucy, a hippie girl who descends upon Woody's character's family.  In one scene, she tells Woody's character Sidney, "I met Alan."  When he says, "Did you?," she responds, "I gave him marijuana." "Oh,…

DNCE Releasing Debut Album November 18

A year ago, DNCE released their debut EP SWAAY, which included the smash hit "Cake by the Ocean."  Now, the band has finally nailed down a release date for its full-length debut album. The self-titled disc will be in stores November 18.  We're not sure how this impacts the band's plan to throw a Halloween-themed release party; a few months ago, Joe told ABC Radio that the disc would be out in October, so that's how they were going to celebrate. So far, there's no track listing for the album, but you can assume that "Cake by the Ocean" and…

Fergie's Solo Album "The Dutchess" Being Issued on Vinyl Dec. 2

It's been ten years since Fergie released her debut solo album, The Dutchess, and we're still waiting for the follow-up.  While we wait, we can console ourselves by spinning The Dutchess on our turntables, because it's being issued on vinyl for the first time. Released ten years ago Tuesday, The Dutchess featured a whopping five top-five singles, including three #1 hits: "London Bridge," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Glamorous." The other hits were "Fergalicious" and "Clumsy."  Together, those hits sold some 15 million copies, setting a record for the most multi-platinum singles from one album. The Dutchess sold nearly six…

While in New York City on Sunday, Ben Rector got to see the hottest show in town -- the Tony-winning musical Hamilton.  It was a big deal for the singer whose wife's been obsessed with the soundtrack for months...and some of the cast members are fans of his. "She’s like, 'We gotta go see this,'” says Ben of his wife. "Then...a couple of the cast members tweeted me, and I didn’t understand what was going on… They’re like, 'You should come see the show sometime.' And I was like, 'What show?'” When he realized that the tweets came from Hamilton…

Duos Dominate Top of the "Billboard" Hot 100

The Chainsmokers and Twenty One Pilots are holding down the #1 and #2 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, which means they've managed a feat which no other musical duos have done in more than 31 years. As Billboard notes, the last time two musical duos had the top two spots on the chart was back in June of 1985, when Tears for Fears was #1 with "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," and Wham! -- George Michael's old group -- was #2 with "Everything She Wants." The only other time this was ever done was in 1984,…

Will Lady Gaga Play the Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Which pop star has a show that's big enough, and filled with enough spectacle, and enough hits, to warrant a spot on the Super Bowl halftime show?  If you said Lady Gaga, you may be right. Sources tell Billboard that Gaga is "in talks" to perform at Super Bowl 51, which will take place February 5, 2017 in Houston.  Gaga performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl earlier this year, and according to Billboard, the NFL was pretty impressed with her performance. Of course, the NFL won't confirm anything at this point, except to tell Billboard, "At this point…
