Bill Paxton's death certificate reveals heart defect

(LOS ANGELES) -- Actor Bill Paxton died of stroke days after undergoing surgery to fix an aortic aneurysm and repair a heart defect, according to his death certificate. The 61-year-old actor died on February 25, just 11 days after undergoing surgery to repair the aneurysm and replace a valve in his heart. His death certificate also revealed that the longtime actor, star of films like Twister and Aliens, was born with a form of heart disease called bicuspid aortic valve. It is a birth defect characterized by the aortic valve having only two small leaflets that help regulate blood flow in the heart instead of…

George Michael died of natural causes, says coroner

(LONDON) -- George Michael died of natural causes, according to a British coroner. The singer, who was found dead Christmas Day of last year at age 53, "died of natural causes -- dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver," according to Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire, England. Cardiomyopathy is essentially weakened heart muscle, with dilated being its most common form, according to WebMD.  Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle. "Logan" flashes its claws with $85 million opening weekend

(LOS ANGELES) -- Logan's R-rating didn't stop it from showing its claws at the weekend box office, and while it didn't come close to Deadpool's record for an R-rated movie, $132.75 million in its opening weekend, the third and final Wolverine movie starring Hugh Jackman, did manage to earn a whopping $85 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
