Report: Patrick Dempsey in Talks to Join Cast of "Bridget Jones" Sequel

(LOS ANGELES) -- Big news for "McDreamy" fans.  Former Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey is in negotiations to join Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth in the next installment of the popular Bridget Jones franchise titled, Bridget Jones’s Baby, Deadline reports.  According to Deadline, Dempsey's role remains unknown but the movie's plot revolves around Bridget unexpectedly becoming pregnant. The story is said to be based on columns written by Helen Fielding, creator of the Bridget Jones books, the website reports.
