Officials in Little Chute plan to go ahead with an authentic Dutch windmill project this year, even though they are well short of their $2.8 million fundraising goal.
Don DeGroot is the president of Little Chute Windmill Incorporated. He says groundbreaking is scheduled for this spring, and the windmill could be up and running by the end of the year.
DeGroot says they still have to raise $700,000. He says people can donate on their Web site or at the office.
DeGroot hopes donations pick up once construction starts.
