News » Burglars strike again on N. Richmond St.

Feb. 10, 2010
Appleton police are investigating another break-in at a business in the N. Richmond Street corridor.

Authorities were called to Appleton Trophy and Engraving  in the 2400 block of N. Richmond Street around 7:30 a.m.

Lt. Pat Matuszewski says an employee came to work and found that the business was ransacked.  He says it looks like the burglar broke a window to enter the building, and left with some jewelry.

He says a witness saw someone walking away from the business around midnight, wearing a dark jacket and carrying a bag.

Matuszewski says officers are still investigating a number of other business burglaries that were reported over the last few months on or near N. Richmond Street.
