Students at Fox Valley Technical College helped raise nearly $5,300 for the earthquake relief effort in Haiti.
They hosted a benefit last week, and the proceeds are going to the local chapter of "Friends of Haiti."
Fox Valley Tech has a scholarship program that brings students from Haiti to the campus, and several are participating right now. About two dozen recent graduates returned to their home country. |
