Republicans in the Appleton area got to hear from the leading GOP candidates for governor.
They'll square off in the September primary, and former Congressman Mark Neumann and Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker tried to spread their message to the GOP faithful last night. They both spoke at the Outagamie County Republican Party's annual "Lincoln Day" dinner.
Walker says he wants to give people their government back, and by doing that, he'll create jobs.
Neumann says he knows how to create jobs from his time as a business owner in the private sector.
Candidates for various other offices this fall were also on hand for the dinner at the Radisson Paper Valley hotel. |
