News » Turnout may be sparse for spring primary
Feb. 16, 2010 Today is the spring primary election, but not many people are expected to head to the polls.
Winnebago County Clerk Sue Ertmer says she's predicting about 10 percent of registered voters will cast a ballot.
She says five candidates are running for a spot on the bench in Winnebago County. Four candidates are on the ballot for Neenah mayor.
In Outagamie County, Kaukauna has a three-way primary race for that city's mayor. The Shiocton school district is also asking voters to have their say on a spending referendum.
The polls close at 8 p.m., and WHBY will have the results as they come in. |
