News » Grand Chute considers deer feeding ban
Feb. 16, 2010 Deer feeding could be a thing of the past in Grand Chute.
The town board is considering a proposal tonight to ban the practice, after two people complained that the animals were eating their plants.
Jim March is Grand Chute's town administrator. He says the town board could also open heavily wooded parts of Grand Chute to hunters, during the regular hunting season. He says a special hunt probably won't be considered.
March says this is the first time that the town board is taking up the issue, and members might not make a decision tonight. |
