Kids all over the country will be picking up Dr. Seuss books today.
Hundreds of libraries are participating in the Read Across America event, which memorializes the childrens author's birthday.
Lisa Voss is the head of library development at the Oshkosh Public Library, and she says the Seuss celebration is a pretty big deal. She says tonight's event includes a story reading, Dr. Seuss bingo, and birthday cake.
Voss says they'll also have a number of prize drawings during tonight's celebration, which runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. |
