A crash last night in Waupaca County claimed the life of a 16-year-old Manawa teen.
The sheriff's department says Christopher Wheeler was killed when he crossed the centerline of Highway 22 and hit an on-coming pickup truck around 9:45 p.m. An 18-year-old Waupaca man was driving the truck, and he was flown to Theda Clark with unspecified injuries.
The crash happened in the town of Little Wolf, just south of Manawa.
Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene. |
