News » FVI leader: Congress should listen to majority
Mar. 19, 2010 The leader of a group that organized Tea Party rallies in the Fox Cities says leaders of Congress need to listen to the will of the people, when it comes to health care reform.
Jim Steineke helped organize the Fox Valley Initiative. He says lawmakers do need to make changes to the health care system, but not by getting the government more involved.
Steineke says they could address the issue of covering pre-existing conditions by creating larger risk pools. He says allowing companies to sell insurance across state lines should also reduce costs. |
