News » Green Bay schools asking for $16.7 million
Mar. 31, 2010 Green Bay school district officials are asking voters for $16.7 million to help pay for building repairs and technology upgrades.
Amanda Brooker is a spokeswoman of the school district. She says just over $11 million would fund maintenance projects that would replace roofs, windows, and other aging equipment.
Brooker says the remaining $5.6 million would be used to replace 5,000 outdated computers and install wireless Internet.
Voters will decide whether the projects will move forward during next Tuesday's election. |
