A highway cleanup volunteer was struck and killed while working along Highway 41 near De Pere.
The state patrol says the 70-year-old Adopt-a-Highway volunteer was working in a ditch near the Schuering Road exit last evening when he was hit by a car.
Investigators say the 31-year-old Green Bay woman driving the car lost control and hit the man. The woman and two passengers
were taken to St. Vincent Hospital with minor injuries.
They're asking any witnesses to come forward. |
