News » Two Appleton principals win major state award
Mar. 30, 2012 The Appleton school district is taking home two of the four state "Principal of the Year" awards.
Bill McClone of Lincoln elementary, and North high school associate principal David Mueller were picked by the department of public instruction.
McClone says it's an honor for both of them.
Mueller oversees student services at North, and he's also the principal at the Appleton Career Academy charter school.
The last Appleton administrator to win the award was Richmond elementary principal Bobbie Schmidt, in 2009. |
