Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is joining the recall race against Governor Walker. 
He made the announcement this afternoon, and he says he will start campaigning across the state tomorrow. If he wins the Democratic primary, it would set up a rematch of the 2010 governor's race.
Walker defeated Barrett, 52 to 47 percent.
Until now, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk was the frontrunner in the race.
A recent Marquette University poll shows both would present a good challenge to Walker, but Barrett currently leads Falk in a primary race. |
