News » Santorum visits Menasha
Apr. 2, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum is asking rural and small-town America to speak loudly and give him a victory in tomorrow's Wisconsin primary.
Polls show Santorum behind Mitt Romney in tomorrow's election but Santorum told a crowd of about 75 today at Saber Lanes in Menasha that Romney's negative adds and robo calls throughout the state is not what's going to win elections.
Santorum says voters must look at his track record and his commitment, and he says it's a sharp contrast to the radical left agenda of President Obama. Santorum challenged the crowd not just to vote for him, but to tell others about him.
He says people of the Fox Valley, rural and small town America, must get out to vote and overwhelm more liberal areas like Milwaukee.
Santorum said like President Ronald Reagan he believes government is the problem, not the solution. He said he would build a strong economy by cutting the corporate tax rate in half, and his message to manufacturing is we want you here, we want products to read "Made In America." |
