Charges could be coming soon against a man Grand Chute police consider a suspect in a Planned Parenthood bombing.
Police Chief Greg Peterson says a witness saw a white SUV with distinctive marks leaving the area Sunday night, about the time that flames were seen coming from the building.
He says a vehicle matching that description crashed in Kaukauna about an hour later.
Peterson says investigators looked at the vehicle, and talked to the driver. The man was arrested on a probation violation.
He says the vehicle and driver resemble the SUV and suspect seen in the Planned Parenthood surveillance video.
Grand Chute police, the ATF, and FBI are investigating the bombing. Peterson says he's not sure if they'll ask for state or federal charges. |
