A longtime Democratic lawmaker from Shawano County died of a heart attack yesterday.
Roger Breske of Eland was 73.
He was a member of the Senate for 18 years, until former Governor Doyle appointed him to become the state railroad commissioner. Breske resigned from the position last year.
He was also a former bar owner, and the president of the state's tavern league. |
