News » GOP candidates make final push in NE Wis.
Apr. 3, 2012 The top two candidates in the Republican race for president made final stops in northeast Wisconsin before today's primary.
Mitt Romney says he's already looking forward to the general election, and what his first priority would be as president -- stopping President Obama's health care reforms.
Rick Santorum made four stops in northeast Wisconsin, including a visit to Simon's Specialty Cheese near Little Chute. He says he's trying to reach out to more conservative voters.
Santorum also spoke at a rally, at Sabre Lanes in Menasha yesterday afternoon. He'll be in his home state of Pennsylvania tonight.
Romney is staying in Wisconsin tonight to watch the election results come in. |
