News » Grand Chute man charged for bombing
Apr. 4, 2012 A 50-year-old Grand Chute man faces federal arson charge for the bombing of the Grand Chute Planned Parenthood building.
Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson says detectives tracked down Francis Grady using a witness's statements and surveillance video from Planned Parenthood.
He says the witness saw a white SUV leaving the area, around the time flames were seen coming from the building.
Peterson says a vehicle matching that description crashed in Kaukauna about an hour later.
Peterson says investigators were able to examine the vehicle, and talk with Grady, who owns the SUV.
Grady was later taken to the Outagamie County jail for a probation violation.
He'll be in federal court in Green bay for an initial appearance this afternoon. |
