The director of Appleton's public health department is optimistic about the findings of a UW-Madison study on the healthiest counties.
Calumet County ranked 10th, Outagamie 13th, and Winnebago 17th, in the health outcomes category.
Director Kurt Eggebrecht says that bodes well for the future, because they weighed factors that influence a person's health in the years to come. He says they looked at things like obesity rates, exercise, and smoking and drinking rates. |
