News » Planned Parenthood suspect has rap sheet
Apr. 5, 2012 The man accused of trying to start a fire at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Grand Chute has a long rap sheet.
For the last eight years, 50-year-old Francis Grady has basically either been on probation or behind bars. That's according to state court records.
He's now facing federal arson charges, after prosecutors say he broke a window at the clinic, and poured gasoline inside, in hopes of burning down the building. He actually only caused minimal damage.
Grady is currently on probation for a misdemeanor conviction last August, for obstructing or resisting police. He was arrested on that same charge again last month.
Grady's record dates back to 1990, when he spent two years in jail for delivering cocaine. He was convicted of that again in 2004, and he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, along with 3-1/2 years of probation.
Grady was sent back to prison for seven months, after his probation was revoked in 2008. He's also been convicted of four counts of felony bail jumping since 2005. |
