News » Federal prosecutor picked for Brown Co. judge
Apr. 6, 2012 Brown County is getting a new judge.
Governor Walker appointed federal prosecutor Tammy Jo Hock to a spot on the bench, in Circuit Court Branch 3.
Hock says she's excited about being able to serve the community. She says she'll carry out her duties with the utmost integrity and impartiality.
Before she became an assistant U.S. attorney in 2006, she was a prosecutor in Brown County and Virginia. Hock says she also has experience in private practice. She's a graduate of UW-Madison's law school.
Hock is replacing retired Judge Sue Bischel. |
