Warm spring weather is leading to an early start to the summer construction season, and Easter travelers will likely see orange barrels on the side of the road any place they go this weekend.
Beth Cannestra of the DOT says the asphalt plants have been up and running for weeks.
The Highway 41 expansion project is well underway in Brown and Winnebago counties, and Cannestra says there are a number of other major projects going on in other parts of the state.
Construction will wrap up for the weekend Friday afternoon. |
