A main road on Kaukauna's northside is closing today, until the fall.
Road crews are replacing a portion of Highway 96, from Lawe Street to the Little Chute village limits.
DOT spokesman Kim Rudat says drivers will have to use an alternate route, but there will be access to businesses and homes. He says they should be done by late October.
Rudat says a detour route is posted. He says the road work could cause backupss so drivers have to be patient.
It's the first phase of the overall project. Next year they'll on to Highway 96 in Little Chute. |
