News » Tornado outbreak hit 1 year ago tomorrow
Apr. 9, 2012 Warm spring weather could lead to a busy start to the state's severe weather season.
A year ago tomorrow, the state experienced its earliest tornado outbreak ever, when 15 twisters touched down, including one that hit Kaukauna.
State emergency management department spokesman Tod Pritchard says it's a good time for families to talk about what to do when severe weather hits.
The National Weather Service confirmed 38 tornadoes in Wisconsin last year. That's the fourth most in state history. |
