The Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate is visiting college campuses around the state this week, including Lawrence University.
Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin talked with about 20 students there yesterday afternoon. She says many people ignore young voters, but that's wrong.
Baldwin says they talked about a variety of issues, including the cost of education, and the future job market.
Baldwin is in line to face one of four Republican candidates. The GOP primary is in September, and the winner of the November election will take over for retiring Senator Herb Kohl. |
