News » Appleton officials consider new skate park
Apr. 11, 2012 Appleton officials are considering replacing a skate park that was removed from Telulah Park a couple of years ago.
Bill Lecker of the city's parks department say they had to take down that skate park to make room for the RiverHeath project. He says there's a large skateboarding community in Appleton, and they could use a new facility.
Lecker says the city is in the early planning stages, and they're working closely with supporters.
Lecker says they might not have a formal proposal until the fall. |
