News » Walker officially launches recall campaign
Apr. 11, 2012 Governor Walker is officially launching his recall campaign with a statewide tour, and he made a stop in Green Bay yesterday afternoon.
Walker says he's moving the state of Wisconsin forward, and he wants to continue to do that. The governor was at Services Plus, a manufacturing company.
He defended the controversial collective bargaining law that sparked the recall effort. He blamed "out-of-state special interests" and "the big government union bosses in Washington" for driving the recall.
Four Democrats will face off in the May 8 primary. Governor Walker will face the Democratic nominee in the June 5 general election. |
