The president of Fox Valley Technical College received a local education award.
Susan May is this year's Thomas Scullen Leadership Award winner, from the Appleton Education Foundation.
May helped push for a $66.5 million referendum that voters overwhelmingly passed earlier this month. She says enrollment grew by 30 percent over the last several years, and the expansion will help.
The award is named after a former Appleton school district superintendent. |
