Apr. 12, 2012 After initially being turned away, and a Milwaukee private investigator now has enough valid signatures to run in the recall election for lieutenant governor.
Democrat Ira Robins turned in his signatures by Tuesday's deadline, but Government Accountability Board officials found some paperwork errors. They say Robins corrected the errors, and he now has the 2,000 signatures he needs to get on the ballot.
He joins Madison firefighter Mahlon Mitchell and fake Democrat Isaac Weix on the May 8 primary ballot. The Democratic nominee will take on Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch in the June 5 general election. |
