News » Recall election will have lasting impact
Apr. 12, 2012 Wisconsin's recall elections could have national repercussions.
Lawrence University political science professor Arnold Shober says a win by Governor Walker would deflate many Democratic candidates in Wisconsin, because many are campaigning on the impact of the collective bargaining law.
He says a Walker loss could also lessen union influence across the country, particularly in states that are considering efforts to curtail collective bargaining rights.
Shober says a Walker loss would have the opposite impact.
He says the entire country will be paying attention to the June 5 election. |
