News » Prosser asks justice to sit out disciplinary case
Apr. 12, 2012 The state Supreme Court justice accused of putting his hands on a fellow justice's neck during an argument wants that justice to recuse herself from any disciplinary proceedings against him.
The Wisconsin Judicial Commission says Justice David Prosser violated the judicial ethics code during the incident with Justice Ann Walsh Bradley last year. Prosser says he was defending himself.
Three appellate court judges will make a recommendation to the Supreme Court, and justices hand out any punishment.
Prosser filed a formal motion today asking Walsh Bradley to sit out the proceedings. |
