About 40 members of a Lawrence University youth choir are in the "Big Apple" to sing at Carnegie Hall.
Karen Bruno is the director of the Lawrence Academy of Music's Girl Choir program. She says the members are in seventh through 10th grades, and they go to schools around the area.
She says they were invited to perform in the National Children's School Choir concert on Sunday after going through an audition process.
The choir flew into New York City this morning. It's the third time the choir has been invited to Carnegie Hall, and the first time in seven years. |
